Things that make your hangover worse.
Unfortunately Sir Gino’s situation has deteriorated somewhat and he has been admitted to the Equine hospital. As a result of initial examinations at Donnington Grove an infection has invaded the ligaments in his near hind leg. This will require lengthy treatment that will sadly rule him out of any further racing this season. This is a dreadful blow to Joe & Marie Donnelly and everybody at Seven Barrows but we will be doing everything possible to help this incredible bright light back to full fitness next season.

Friend of mine reckons Lossiemouth may have been distracted by the seagulls before her fall? Pricks her ears like something has caught her attention, but it clearly wasn’t the hurdle!

@JasonRyan22 Ratings are the best guide re raw ability in a sport we are constantly trying to find the best horse? GDC has a far better CV & is a “greater” horse but DC had just as much ability, for all it took him longer to reach his peak. On decent ground, would strongly fancy DC over GDS.

@JasonRyan22 Why should they be taken with a pinch of salt? ‘Pointless’, is OTT re consistency can see that view, bit tried my best to differentiate between the two. Harbinger also feels like an outlier performance/example.
