I think Trump will walk back his comments on Gaza shortly… KSA immediately reaffirms its “fixed, unshakeable” position “with no room for negotiation” on creation of a Palestinian state.
‼️‼️‼️.The Saudi response to President Trump came very quickly by a statement from the foreign ministry & it says that the Saudi position on the establishment of a Palestinian state is firm and unwavering, and there will be no diplomatic relations with Israel without it.

I haven’t heard any other US official be as explicit as @USAmbIsrael that the Biden admin’s master plan for Saudi-Israeli normalization post-Oct 7 has been a total fantasy.

Netanyahu never relinquished the goal of “destroying” Hamas, and promised his coalition to resume the war ASAP, which seems to be verified by the deal’s approval by the security cabinet. This is why many urged caution when the deal was announced Tuesday.
Israeli media is reporting that Netanyahu accepted far-right minister Bezalel Smotrich’s demands for remaining in the government once the cabinet approves the ceasefire — including that Israel will resume fighting in Gaza after Phase 1 of the deal.
