The CCTV showed a known suspect using the stolen bank card. Yesterday, after further CCTV linked that same suspect to the vicinity of the incident running away, I located and arrested him.
Today he has been charged and remanded in custody.

Had words with a Ferrari 458 driver last night who told me his car wasn’t designed to have a front numberplate so why should he try to fit one? £100 ticket issued which he told me his staff would pay for him. Hopefully they’ll deal with the DVLA when they contact him too.

It’s not all fast paced action as a Special. Today spent 8 hours looking after a detained person in hospital. Maybe not that exciting, but still a very important job and kept two regular officers out on the streets working.

I spotted a male urinating on the high street and stopped to have a word. Upon running checks, turns out he's been wanted for several months for failure to appear in court for assaulting an ambulance worker!
I arrested the male and he will remain in custody until Monday.

Put a stop on this vehicle after committing a traffic offence, managed to identify that the male was driving without insurance. As well as immigration enforcement notifying us that he is in the country illegally. Arrested for immigration offences and handed over to border force

Today completed the first of our two days of annual police personal safety training; specials undertake the exact same training as regulars, and it's a really critical (and interesting) way for us to keep our skills in check. Oh, and we all passed the fitness test too!

Out with a PCSO colleague, stop searched two young males in a residential car park in

after ASB complaints.
Both appeared nervous. Hidden underneath a car no more than a metre away was a large Rambo style knife in a sheath.
I arrested both males.

Happy to support our Community Speedwatch team in Chandlers Ford today where I stopped a vehicle doing 69mph in a 30mph zone. Incredibly terrifying speed for a local residential road. A day in court awaits the driver.

Specials crewed together did a pro-active stop on a vehicle driving erratically in Southampton at 0200 this morning. The driver provided a positive breath sample for excess alcohol, and this morning was charged with drunk driving, and driving with no licence or insurance.

Driving through the New Forest in the dark at motorway speeds is an accident waiting to happen! This driver will be going to court after being clocked at 71mph this morning on a 40mph stretch with animals either side of the road. Drive to arrive and please slow down. 9942

Pulled the vehicle and it transpired the driver had no insurance, no license, no tax, and no MOT. Far from ideal!

Spoke to a driver of an illegally parked car - he seemed nervous and had good cause to be. A S23 drugs search yielded a significant quantity of drugs.
A 24-year-old man from London was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B controlled drug.

I spent the day at Southampton Magistrates court yesterday after a male I had dealings with pleaded not guilty to obstructing police.
After multiple hours, the male was found guilty!
The male is now in breach of his suspended sentence and will appear at crown court.

which turned out to be the suspect from a recent shoplifting who was garden hopping. Suspect arrested for theft, damage to fence and then also found in possession of wraps of cocaine. Not bad for the first 15 mins!
