Breaking: Centre for Algorithms in the Cortex (CAC) has just received 10 years of CoE funding by @forskningsradet πŸ₯‚ CAC shall pioneer the next decade’s explorations of the cortex & provide basic science knowledge on the neural network codes underlying high-level brain functions

We developed a 2.4g miniature multiplane 2-photon microscope recording 1000s of neurons in freely moving 🐭 and used it to obtain the 1st topographic maps of all spatial cell types. πŸ‡³πŸ‡΄πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡¨πŸ‡³ @WikiZong and @HorstObenhaus at @KISNeuro, with @trose_neuro, @t_bonhoeffer #KiloNeurons
