Legit had no idea that Denis Shapovalov (25) and Tomas Machac (24) are only one year apart. In tennis years, it feels like miles based on their career trajectories on tour.

For comparison, Fritz and Opelka have played each other 6 times. It’s easy to forget that Paul was once a distant 4th/late bloomer compared to Fritz/Opelka/Tiafoe when they were coming up on tour.
