Testing will confirm a new vapor monitoring and detection system operates correctly in SY Tank Farm. Crews with @WRPSTOC installed the new equipment in the farm containing 3 underground doubleshell waste storage tanks. The system is used in addition to personal ammonia monitors.

Coordinating with other DOE sites, @WRPSTOC saved ~ $600k on repurposed whole body contamination monitors. The monitors were no longer needed at the Nevada Test Site, so WRPS coordinated with HMIS to ship the monitors to Hanford. They will be tested and calibrated before used.
