This's good. They need to build more plants to support more people. Also, locals need to be trained on running & maintaining the plants. Success to them.

The administration established by the people of SSC has been in place for just one year, yet they have already achieved tangible progress. Here is the water plant that supplies the city. #SOMALIA: South West State President, @Laftagareen has reached an agreement with Addis Ababa to deploy & maintain troops in the #Bay & #Bakool regions despite opposition from Villa Somalia. Reports emerging indicate Laftagareen accompanied by Speaker of the House, Adan Madobe met with HSM & requested ENDF remain stationed in SWS to which the President refused. Interesting to see how Villa Somalia responds but, it could the dividing factor which could derail HSM plans to hold elections alongside Hirshabelle, Galmudug & SWS if Laftagareen jumps off the train. SWS would have support from Puntland & Jubaland if it wishes to hold indirect elections. Laftagareen has two options, take the route of Sharif Sheikh Aden & oppose HSM or, fully endorse the Villa Somalia’s approach which strengthens central govt influence in the region. ❌It is worth noting: knowing Somali political history, it’s most likely that Laftagareen would take the high road. Plus, trust is not great between the leaders since 2022 following an attempted coup by opposition figures in Baydhabo backed by Mogadishu. This could be the nail in the coffin if Villa Somalia doesn’t reach an understanding with Baydhabo.

@mp_dalmar Did you realise only 🇪🇹 talks about the Ankara Declaration but Somali govt under HSM refuses to discuss it. 🇪🇹 also wants to implement the Declaration before HSM leaves office. Ankara Declaration will end Somalia as sovereign state, HSM knows it, thats why he's quite.
