$ZBRA -2% on very light pre-mkt volume Zebra Tech reported an EPS & revs beat this morning, however the co. lowered FY25 adj EPS guidance to $14.75 - $15.25 from $16.00 consensus - the lowered guidance follows weak guidance from peers $AVY & $PI over the past 2 weeks. - $ZBRA shares have lost ~13% since $AVY and then $PI reported - the writing was on the wall, but if a trader can't make a decision, he has nothing. Investors will see if the lowered guidance has already baked in b/f this morning w/ shares at Sept. lows. - for those who think DMAs are more than a coin toss, Zebra traded thru its 200DMA of $254.75 y'day.

$SFTBY - (overnight) : SoftBank's Son back to form with big bets and quarterly loss -SoftBank reported a $2.4B loss for Q3, driven by declining valuations at its Vision Fund investment arm. -The timing isn't great as SoftBank is reportedly in talks to invest up to $40B in OpenAI, with $15B already committed to the Trump-backed Stargate AI project with Oracle. -The loss raises concerns over SoftBank’s aggressive AI investments, especially as Vision Fund 2 has lost $22.2B since 2019. -Does Softbank have the $ to invest in Stargate as @elonmusk has claimed they don't?

Straight from the Erdogan School of Economics - the good news is that Turkey's inflation rate has dropped from October 2022's 85% after Erdogan went against the norm by ordering rates cut in the face of higher prices to this January's 47% inflation rate. Because of his success, Erdogan plans 'landmark' rate cuts in 2025. $SPY - S&P Futures are -1% this morning after "hot" CPI data that has traders shifting their implied probability on the next Fed cut to December 2025 from September 2025.

$ZBRA -2% as the selloff in sympathy with $PI and $AVY's poor earnings continues. There's an old saying on Wall Street : Money lost, Nothing lost Courage lost, Everything lost $ZBRA has lost 8% since Avery's 1/30 earnings, more than $AVY's -7% decline. $PI is -17% since Wednesday's report. Zebra reports on 2/13, if they guide lower like their peers will a decline already baked in?
