Launching a community fridge in normal circumstances can be a bit of a challenge and during a global pandemic, that tad bit trickier. But, people of Halifax, you came through. Through your selfless generosity, hundreds of people from Calderdale won't go to sleep hungry.

On Thursday, a group of students from the Calder Learning Trust visited us to make a donation from their annual Hamper Appeal. Students and staff rose to the occasion once again, bringing in a huge amount of items. Thank you to everyone who donated, it is very much appreciated.

We have schools visiting the Mosque and Community Fridge every week - we recently had Triangle Primary School visit us with donations and even presented us with a cash donation that the children had been fundraising. Amazing generosity from the children at the school.

Our donation trolleys are dotted around the town in our towns amazing supermarkets that support us - here’s some donations from earlier today from Emma at Asda Halifax. Emma and her family volunteer weekly and have supported the fridge for many years.
