Embarrassing to see @wada_ama’s desperate efforts to blame their critics. Biggest problem are WADA‘s spineless leaders Bańka + Niggli - but also fawning staff members who helped to bend truth in China‘s doping saga. Preposterous that WADA has damaged the fight against doping.
In full transparency and to respond to the World Anti-Doping Agency’s defamatory letter to USADA Board Chair Dr. Tobie Smith that it published in September, we are sharing our response, which details our ongoing concerns with WADA’s past and present governance. This letter demonstrates our unending commitment to ensuring the global anti-doping system best serves athletes, and while we are unwilling to accept anything less than a fully accountable global regulator, we absolutely want WADA to succeed in its mission and be the strong global leader sport and clean athletes need and deserve. I am sure that Fitzgerald is not the key person in this poor WADA „performance“. Better to ask his bosses. Would be naive to believe that media strategy isn’t approved by them. Fitzgerald’s behaviour is embarrassing, but his bosses sow the seeds for WADA‘s public appearance. .
