Lakers 2023-2024 wishlist:
* Anthony Davis and LeBron plays at least 65 games (75+ is wishful thinking atp)
* 50 win season while being a top 4 seed
* AD finally wins DPOY
* AD and Bron All NBA teams
* AD and Bron All Star selections
* Reaves and Rui growth
* Championship
"The Los Angeles Lakers are finishing the season with a 57-25 record. Good for the first seed in the West."
"Los Angeles' JJ Redick has won the 2024-25 NBA Coach of the Year award."
"LA Lakers star Anthony Davis has won the 2024-25 NBA Defensive Player of the Year award."
Nuggets fans are still using the underdog card vs. the Lakers while continuing to say that they’re WAY better and how they’re gonna sweep the Lakers again, such a bipolar fanbase
Not hating on Bron at all nor AD but man I'm ready for the rebuild.
6 seasons (18-19' to 23-24')
* 1 chip, they'll be forever loved by legit fans
*1 WCF run in a 2-10 start
*2 missed playoff berths
* 1 first round exit
*11th seed at the moment
It's time to move on.
I'm starting to see Austin as our Jordan Poole and it pains me to say that lol
Improved after his rookie yr, had a good playoff run, got their bags and suddenly regressed.

I think the added weight is the reason his jumpshot is terrible now. And him having back issues clearly dont help. He was fast in 20'
Rick Carlisle said that he is hopeful Malcolm Brogdon - who’s been battling Achilles soreness and played only one game in the last month - would play tonight. Added it’s been tough without him, and that Brogdon was the team’s leader. He’s officially a game-time decision.
And the 2023 Lakers had a worse roster in the first half of the season than this year with AD and Bron missing time. Just a terrible team + coaching staff that's all
Anthony Davis 2023-2024
(40/42 games)
33 double-doubles
25.2 pts (56% FG) (33% 3FG) (81.3% FT)
12.2 rebs (3.1 ORebs)
3.7 asts (2nd highest mark of his career)
2.5 blks
1.2 stls
148 steals and blocks tied for first w/ Wemby
Pelinka did say he has been in contact with Davis about the Lakers' roster construction, however. Beyond Hayes, Pelinka said L.A. is "actively in the market to add another big," and hinted that the Lakers would pursue a player with stretch 5 capabilities. Wood maybe?

Every season since winning the championship the Lakers had drama
2020-2021: Drummond and Dennis politics
2021-2022: Russ and Vogel
2022-2023: Russ Part 2, roster construction
2023-2024: Darvin Ham and 'continuity' not being applied
Grizzlies dead last in 3-pt shooting until they played the Lakers, why? Because the Lakers defense are reliant on hoping the opps miss and leaving em open
fans that complain about signing/trading for 'big names' the same dudes that also want these names that don't fit us cause why the fuck do people want demar
