Reflections on 8 Years in the Lakes | Winter As I head into my final few weeks working for the Lake District, it’s a strange time of reflection after all these years. The Lakes have always been a special place, but I’ve always adored winter here. It’s a quieter time when our dedicated teams work hard together to prepare for the year and the season ahead. It’s also when the Lakes take on a starker, darker beauty – snow-capped peaks highlighting the stunning landscape and built heritage that make this place so unique. Here are a few winter moments from my time in the Lakes.
