My father had opened a nursery and some PPP asshole wanted free plants & services which my father refused. He got my father's nursery razed a week ago.
Western feminism is when you get upset when Barbie cast doesn't get nominations but actively support funding of slaughter of men, women & children in Gaza.
When we talk about Karachi cleanup & rehabilitation, I hope we also remember the underprivileged severely affected in Thatta, Badin and Balochistan - the ones without voices on social media and news media.
Around 3 years ago, my brother and I were in Saddar. I told him about a gurdwara nearby and we went to visit it. It was almost empty at that time, but I met with the guardian there and we sat down. They told us that it was Guru Nanakโs birthday so we volunteered with decorating
I was browsing Tinder with my friend and we came across a profile of my ex-colleague who is about to get married to another one of my co-workers. ๐๐๐
My father's grandfather was hakeem and we have his journals, which are around 100 years old with herbal medicinal recipes written down in them in English and Sindhi
Before voting for PPP remember that Nazim Jokhio's murderer is at large and a member of the party.
PPP doesn't stand for environmental and social justice. It only cares about enriching its own members. It has no principles on which it stands on.
Throwback to when Pakistan air force was the PRIDE of the nation and built this lumber 1 shopping mall.
Too bad bigots like Maria B couldn't say much about it ๐ฅบ
The Gurdwara. We inflated loads of balloons and did the tasks they told us to do. They had a huge cake for then birthday. I wanted to wait and participate in the celebrations but we had to some other plans for the evening so we departed. It was a fun little detour. :)
The "billion tree tsunami" will amount to nothing if

doesn't protect the mangrove forests. Destroying an already existing forest for housing project will lead to normalization of this practice.
Mangroves store 4times the carbon that normal trees do.
Donated almost 80% of the books in my collection that I had bought over the last 10-15 years to a library in a town in Upper Chitral.
Grateful to

It would take me 1.5 hours to get to uni by bus and 1.5 hours to get back home. And the buses were usually stuffed and so suffocated, especially in hot humid summer. Would drain the life out of me.
I'm traveling in a public bus after a long time. Had to, because the ride share app didn't have partners around the space I was at (Taiser Town). Buses r the last, major options on the peripheries of the city. I don't knw hw ppl do this: commute time sometimes over 2 hrs.

I was asked to recognise my Sindhi privilege and I'm wondering what that is ๐ถ
Does it even exist for Sindhis who have no political affiliation nor any lands/villages and whose families have made it out of poverty/peasantry through sheet struggle?
I have given up on
@KElectricPk
's ability to fix this mess tonight. They have been attempting to fix the fault since the morning. Meanwhile Benazir Bhutto Park in front of my house is brimming with flood lights, as are the street lights.
One of the things I love about my parents when growing up was how they encouraged me to mingle and become friends with kids of other religions. They taught us not to discriminate when there were others around me who would. Closest childhood friends of me and my twin sister were
