Welcome to Retro CN. We're dedicated to the good ol' days of what used to be considered the best place for cartoons.

Phineas Flynn' surfing was so radical that he defies Einstein's theory of relativity according to Judge

, which is also infinite. That makes judge

's ranking of him to be the lowest score, which is a 100,000 out of 10.
@WardenDean
Ahem, The Owl House, Infinity Train, and Amphibia all exist. If we're including the last decade, there's Adventure Time, and Gravity Falls.
Cartoon Network artists also made art when their respective shows got canceled. OK K.O.!'s was a cute message that uses lyrics from the credits song, while Uncle Grandpa's has him holding a revolver.

This is the second time I’ve seen a former Nickelodeon creative making a piece of art taking huge potshots at the company for really playing favorites for the past 20 years.
(This was made by the El Tigre and Book of Life creator)
Can we please get Rock Paper Scissors to be the show to finally kill The Loud House, like that show did to The Fairly OddParents?

Regular Show is the most ideal cartoon ever:
Ran for 8 seasons without getting stale.
Can appeal to both kids and adults alike.
The 80s references feels more genuine than forced.
It's mostly episodic with continuity sprinkled in.
It has a very memorable variety of characters.
@niceupdog
Reminds me of the Simpsons cutaway gag where Bart plays Tetris on his GameBoy on a plane. The flight attendant tells him that he shouldn't be playing on it. So when Bart turns it off, the Plane starts crashing down as we hear the flight attendant begging him to turn it back on.
I think what made most 90s & 00s (early 10s to some extent too) kids cartoons appeal to adults too was for how unhinged they were. Clearly stuff like this can NEVER be allowed in cartoons targeting towards children these days.
Anybody else misses the Cartoon Network website? Well my fansite tries to replicate how good it used to be in it's older days.

You could try it out for yourself:
@TomHamill2
These two episodes aired in the same year, and one of the shows featured was made by another terrible person. Cartoons in the mid 2010s were obsessed with twerking, especially in 2016.
@NowhMan
It only lasted 2 hours, yet everyone treated it like it's a big deal. Same with how much Johnny Test used to air back then. As great as Gumball is, that show takes up most of CN's schedule currently compared to CNR and JT. Also, AT was just right around the corner in 09.
@spongearchive_
Thx, but I honestly never worked on the episode. I used MS Paint to recreate the sprites. This is probably my favorite scene from Atlantis SquarePantis.
I feel like the perception of SpongeBob being more annoying also has to do with things besides writing like music choice.
If you change the music in this scene to be slower and more plodding (as it often was in post movie) the joke doesn't work nearly as well
@joshnamesnotjo1
I miss the period when Nickelodeon made their own official YTPs instead of whatever the heck they're doing now, which is trying to be a stupid content farmer.
@powkazter
When it comes to traditionally animated shows, I think it was intentional for OK KO cause it's trying to replicate Hanna Barbanime, but Adventure Time and Regular Show both go for the HD Simpsons route in their later seasons. Then again, I'm talking about 2010s cartoons.
