Amelkovich had a hat trick last night in Shattuck's State Championship game against Minnesota Tradition. There are two seasons in Girls Prep hockey we've been told. First season playing teams only in Minnesota. Now Shattuck will be playing teams across the country.

Amelkovich marks the third recruit to come out of Shattuck in the pipeline, as she currently plays with Sophie Morrow and Morgan Stickney. Last year, the Glen Ellyn, Illinois native tallied 33pts (12g, 21a) in 57 games with Shattuck.

Charlie Cerrato and Matt DiMarsico have been invited to the Pittsburgh Penguins development camp which begins July 6th.

The Penguins have announced their 2024 development camp roster, which will be held from July 6-10 at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex.
48 prospects will convene for the five-day camp, featuring on-ice sessions each day.

More skating videos of Karmanov. We've seen really big kids that can skate very fluidly (take Owen Power for example), but this is a whole different level. Very impressive. Just has to be wary of his size when throwing body checks but he will learn that over time.

Because people cannot get enough of Alexander Karmanov, some skating clips via Instagram. Have not seen a 7'0 hockey player before but I'd guess this is decent skating for that height.

The 16-year-old will be eligible for the 2026 NHL Draft and was selected in the third round (38th overall) in the 2024 USHL Futures Draft by the Waterloo Black Hawks.

Harvey is a 200-foot center with a very high hockey IQ and is someone that can take a lot of important defensive zone draws. He has great speed and is very agile on his edges. A little early to say now, but he might have potential to be the future No. 1 center for Penn State.
