On October 26, at around 9:30 P.M., there was a significant fire at HVAF of Indiana’s Manchester Apartments — located at 960 Pennsylvania Street in downtown Indianapolis. This facility serves as a transitional housing property for 48 homeless veterans.

Indiana lawmakers launch a donation drive to support veterans in need after a fire displaced 48 veterans at a HVAF property. The effort, launched by Helping Veterans and Families of Indiana, aims to collect essential items through March.

After the devastating fire on Oct.26th at the Manchester Apartments, we are proud to highlight that HVAF has leased 28 units on the Near Westside, providing veterans a new safe place to heal, rebuild, and access the resources they need through our transitional housing program!

Meet Keith, a Marine veteran! After being displaced from the fire in Oct., Keith was one of the final nine veterans who had been temporarily staying in hotels to move into new transitional housing! Keith is already settling into his new home, wish him luck in the comments!
