I have a pet peeve. Well, many actually, but this is my biggest one: telling a lie which can be disproved with a 30 second Google search. It's particularly aggravating when academics do it. Link in replies...

I'm not sure how accurate the 3% number is, but it certainly would explain why I still see a few people wearing masks while driving alone in cars.

You’re kidding right? You didn’t bother to take 10 seconds and google it? Here, even you can’t be so lazy you can’t click on a link: You might have to read for a bit though so pace yourself. Seek help for the big words.

Does anyone trust polls anymore?
A tale of two polls. Leger says Conservatives are losing support and are tied with the Liberals if Mark Carney becomes Liberal leader. Abacus says they see little change, that the Conservative lead is substantial even with Carney as Liberal leader. Argue amongst yourselves.

Excellent post!
Human history shows we are always ruled over by a handful of elites. If the elites in question are benevolent, which Trudeau is not, governance is trusted and respected. Trudeau is so weak, Trump is making noises about making Canada a 51st state. Will we defend ourselves or assimilate into the US? These are questions which make us examine Canadian identity.
