My dad passed away unexpectedly this week. I believe there’s a special coffee shop for all the farmers in heaven, complete with unlimited pie for everyone. And that’s where he’s at now.

Growing up my grandpa was my best friend and I spent most my time with him. The absolute best thing he taught me was how good it feels to end a day tired (and proud) from working hard. It would fix alot of things if more people knew that feeling and woke up chasing it every day.

Today would have been my Grandpa’s 99th birthday!
He was my best friend, my mentor and both my kids are named after him. He was everything I’m not; quiet, shy and reserved. And somehow he is 💯 who shaped who I am and I am so grateful for every second I had with him.
