@the_conveyancer You are misquoting us. We said "Anyone concerned about the impact of this 'gap'....". The impact is reflected in the criteria as stated in our guidance on how to request an expedite.

@the_conveyancer The reply referred to the 'impact' of the registration gap and as linked to the expedite criteria now shared. If there's a linked/dependent transaction or personal hardship then expedition is warranted. If the concern is the length of the gap alone then that would not meet 1/2

@the_conveyancer The criteria for expedition is explained on A concern about the registration gap would not fit those criteria. Apologies for not linking you to the guidance previously

@the_conveyancer Every property is different, but for the majority of sales the 'gap' between sale and registration has little impact; as soon as HMLR receives the application, legal rights are protected. Anyone concerned about the impact of this 'gap' can request a free expedite to 1/2

@loupeelou75 I'm sorry to read that - what's the title number/our case reference or address please?

@kitana_jane Correct - timescales will vary and it's impossible for anyone to be definitive as a result. Provided your conveyancer has submitted the application then it's protected

@kitana_jane If there's an urgency then your conveyancer/you can request expedition. But if there isn't then please bear with us and wait for confirmation once completed and the register updated.
