Just thinking if Baggies had shown a bit more desire in the summer window as the desperation they're showing now to get deals over the line, they may not have been where currently are! Very poor "management" by the club - at all levels! Many to blame! No plan, no focus!

65 years ago, I saw my first cup tie - WBA 5 Man City 1 - at the Hawthorns & a crowd of nearly 50,000 It cost 2 shillings (10 pence) to get in for a nipper! This Saturday, I'm seeing about number 200 at Bristol, with '68 Cup win along the way! FA Cup still magical for me!

I toured the lower division grounds in the 90s with Baggies, so I've done that! It took a change of owners & a huge amount of hard work, to put it right! I fear the decline has only just started, but without a serious change of direction, that's where we're headed again!

One reflection on yesterday! The attitude of some fans is so selfish! Many in East Stand, not usually there, stood up for 90 mins! Doesn't usually happen there, but it meant others had to stand to see! So elderly lady who sits near left at halftime because she couldn't see!

Today would have been my dad's 100th birthday. Obviously not many make that remarkable landmark but so many who lived & served in WW2 deserve to be remembered - so Happy Birthday Dad - gone but not forgotten. Thanks for the memories. 👍
