Mara Bernasconi, HI's advocacy and policy Manager for Gaza and the West Bank is with our team in #Gaza at the moment. She talks to us about the new Prosthetics and Orthotics centre that we've just opened last week in Khan Yunis to support people injured by the violence in Gaza.

Since the beginning of January, clashes between the Congolese army and armed groups have been escalating in North and South Kivu. In Goma, since 29 January, HI’s physiotherapists and psychologists have been providing mental health and rehabilitation support people injured.

Moamen, 10, was injured by a bullet while buying oil in #Gaza. He was rescued by neighbours and taken to hospital, but was unable to walk for a few months. Now at home, his father continues the rehabilitation exercises provided by HI which are essential to regain his mobility! 💙
