The first Aircraft LA5033 of the Tejas Mk1A Aircraft series took to the skies from HAL facility in Bengaluru today. It was a successful sortie with a flying time of 18 minutes.
HAL takes immense pride that indigenously designed and developed LCH (Prachand) is inducted into the IAF by the Defence Minister, Mr Rajnath Singh at a ceremony in Jodhpur. The Company thanks all its stakeholders, designers and valued customers in this successful journey.
As a major milestone in the LCA Tejas Program, the first ever series production standard LCA Trainer (LT 5201) manufactured by HAL took to the skies for its maiden flight today from HAL airport and landed after completing a successful sortie of around 35 minutes.
HAL registers highest-ever revenue from operations of around Rs.26,500 Crores (provisional and unaudited) for FY 2022-23 as against Rs.24,620 for the previous FY. The Company has recorded a revenue growth of 8% during the year as compared to last year.

HAL signed an MoU for establishing an office in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) in the presence of Dr. Ajay Kumar, Secretary, Defence. The office in Malaysia will help HAL in tapping the new business opportunities for Fighter Lead-in Trainer (FLIT) LCA and other requirements of
HAL Dhruv received restricted type certification from European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in Brussels, Belgium today. The EASA certification establishes that HAL is capable of designing helicopter platforms meeting stringent European certification requirements.
HAL recorded the highest-ever revenue from operations of over Rs. 29,810 crores (provisional and unaudited) for the FY ended on March 31, 2024 as against Rs. 26,928 crores for the previous FY, registering a double digit growth of around 11% as against 9% in the previous FY.
The Defence Secretary, Mr. Giridhar Aramane inaugurated the third LCA production line and also handed over 100th Sukhoi-30 MKI ROH aircraft to Air Vice Marshal Sarin, VSM, Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Eng A), Indian Air Force at HAL’s Nashik Division today.
HAL is proud to receive the contract for the supply of 70 numbers of indigenously designed and developed HTT-40 to the Indian Air Force. HAL thanks all its stakeholders including Indian Air Force, CEMILAC and DGAQA for getting the Aircraft developed and certified successfully.
In a move aimed at bolstering the ‘Make in India’ campaign, HAL has entered into an MoU with Israel Aerospace Industries to convert civil (passenger) aircraft into Multi Mission Tanker Transport aircraft in India.

The President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu inaugurated HAL’s Integrated Cryogenic Engine Manufacturing Facility (ICMF) in Bengaluru and said it is not only a historic moment for HAL and ISRO but for the whole of India.

Aero India 2023: HAL will display a unique ‘Aatmanirbhar Formation’ flight of 15 helicopters and scale model of Next Gen Supersonic Trainer (Hindustan Lead in Fighter Trainer-42) apart from ALH, LCH, LUH, LCA twin seater variant, Hawk-i, IJT and HTT-40 aircraft.
HAL achieved this significant production milestone with concurrent design & development amid major supply chain challenges in the global geo-political environment subsequent to the contract signature in February 2021.

HAL’s LCA Tejas Division and VEM Technologies Pvt. Limited signed an MoU to manufacture 20 sets of center fuselage assembly for the LCA Tejas MK1A program on October 19, 2022 during DefExpo 22 at Gandhinagar.
A Su-30 MKI crashed while on test sortie from HAL Nashik at Sirsa gaon. Both the pilots of HAL have ejected to safety. A technical snag was reported by the pilots. The exact reason will only be known after detailed investigation.

HAL & Airbus signed a contract for establishing MRO facilities for the A-320 family of aircraft in New Delhi today. This collaboration will strengthen Make-in-India mission by achieving self-reliance in the aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) industry in India.
