I will say this: fandoms actually rarely die completely. They rather “fall asleep” until some event, be it fans or official, or are reduced to a small but extremely friendly community.
we as fans can still "keep it alive", so don't worry! just keep sharing what you like!
I miss March - when the FPE fandom has begun. It was a lovely time when people drawing their ocs in the series style, fanarts, animations, memes, etc…
Everything was amazing
Now seeing some people losing interests in FPE makes me feel quite sad
