@Hush_Kit @CalumDouglas1 I'll defer to Calum if he tells me I'm wrong, but the whole rotating rotor thing in the core of a Wankel engine has always had me defining it as rotary.

@andrewsduncan1 @williamnhutton Given the massive undermanning of ATC worldwide and general shortage of qualified people, this seems incredibly unlikely. ATC employers are basically taking anybody competent with a licence right now, anywhere in the world. It's a great time to train as a controller!

@moldovia @Wayne_Dixon @SDPhq I prefer to think that prisons are there to reform prisoners, not simply to make them suffer.

@BrennanSurgeon Sadly, I've had to explain it to a few journalists both sides of the Atlantic this week. The reasons probably obvious.

@miss_e_mcgovern @Wayne_Dixon @SDPhq Perhaps it varies between prisons? I've visited an idiot friend who got to stay in two in England, but by no means a large cross section, and recall him telling me how he had to earn it. We may both be correct.

@miss_e_mcgovern @Wayne_Dixon @SDPhq You are incorrect. Earning TV privileges is quite important to them, and not automatic. At least anywhere I've investigated. Much wrong in the prison system, especially the shockingly bad education provision. TV is a non issue.

@Wayne_Dixon @SDPhq Typically it costs prisoners about 10% of their prison earnings I think. All things are relative.

@timba_captain Not in anything bigger than a Beech Duchess myself, but I am familiar with the process. Again I am identifying questions and avoiding making assumptions. It is the only way to investigate fairly.

@timba_captain By glideslope I mean the vertical profile. You have your assumptions about how that runway switch would be flown, I have mine. NTSB mustn't have any - they need to work out what actually went on.
