Update 2/11: Joi's vitals are stable, but is unable to keep food down (likely due to the flu virus), so they're keeping her another day. I'll post more information here when I get it.

Update: Joi is still in the ICU. Nausea and vomiting from the flu is causing her ketoacidosis to trigger over and over, so she's going to remain here until it passes and her vitals remain stable. Hopefully she'll be discharged tomorrow.

Can't sleep. I miss my wife, and it pains me to see her in such pain and discomfort.

@allison_callis Any time general anesthesia is administered, complications can occur, especially with other mitigating factors that all came into play at once. It was a perfect storm that nearly gave her a literal heart attack, and had to be taken to the ER. Trust me, I'm not happy with this.

@katystoll Shark Week was always my go to when sick. My wife just tested positive for the flu, so it's Shark and Awe time!

Update: Joi is staying in the ICU overnight and most of tomorrow. She is in good hands, and recovering slowly. I am now home. I did not sleep, and have not had anything to drink or eat since yesterday. I am burnt out, and am going to collapse momentarily. Stay safe, my friends.
