It’s official, my Xbox’s are now property of GameStop. It was a good run.
With my disappointment with first party releases, lack of Japanese games I want, and price increases to GamePass, I’m leaving the Xbox console fam.

I have this conversation with myself almost daily.
For fighting games, symmetrical is better for the dpad placement. For sports games, the opposite.
For shooters my aim is better on symmetrical, but I find offset more comfortable for longer sessions

I was literally just talking about this with my wife. If Gears and Halo didn’t happen, I don’t know how they would exist. Furthermore if the 360 failed I don’t think they would have continued past the One.

That is quite a bit better than the 140k Xbox Ones sold in Japan, but still exclipsed by the Xbox 360s 1.6 million units.
For perspective, the Switch has sole 34 million units in Japan

It comes with a dock to connect to a TV, with detachable controllers to form a normal controller. It’s a home console handheld hybrid.
If you never took it out of the dock, it would act just like an Xbox or PS5 would.

The game launched previously on Steam, so the idea that launching on a platform that doesn’t foster sales would be incorrect.

Xbox had a great show too, but the lack of Japanese games, apart from MGS Delta, and trailers with no date brought it down a bit for me personally.

Redfall and Starfield missed for me personally, so I am keeping my excitement for these with a grain of salt.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the PS5 games I’ve played.

Bungie made Destiny 2 free to play in 2019. Sony purchased Bungie in 2022. They are not correlated, but it’s not like you would care anyway since it doesn’t fit your agenda.

You can’t export in XML or CSV, which are the two most popular forms of password management file types. They can only be exported as Samsung password formats for use with other Samsung devices.
I.e passwords created in Samsung Pass can not be imported to any other platform.

This issue NEEDS to be fixed. Me, and plenty of other Xfinity customers specifically, have dealt with this for over 2 years. Every boot requires me to reset my network, or test the connection. Port forwards do not fix it. It is an IPV6 issue, that does not affect Xbox.

I only typically do it if I don’t have a primary use for it anymore. Like when I got my PS5, I didn’t need my PS4 to play those games anymore. I have a PC, so I don’t need the Xbox console to play the games (and most games for Xbox I owned I already own on other platforms).

Game preservation does not automatically mean physical. Emulation (for the sake of game preservation) is done basically entirely digitally.

I own both, and still agree.
Halo didn’t live up to expectations, redfall was my most anticipated game, HiFi rush was fun for a bit but the studio was shut down, Starfield had a terrible story imo, etc.
