Remember the movie Independence Day? The president goes to Area 51 and wants to see inside the secure area. They try to discourage him, but he firmly states "Open it !" ? Well if Trump went to the Treasury, which is in theory his domain, with Elon & Team in tow, and said, Open it! They would have to comply.

The Department of Treasury is in the Executive Branch and the United States Secretary of the Treasury reports to the President. How the hell can a federal judge block DOGE, directed by Trump to audit the DOT? HOW??? Seems to me Trump could just do anything he wants with HIS executive branch.

Where has Congress been? Who had oversight of USAID and others? For decades no one cared to take a peek at what they were doing. Congress just rubber-stamped billions for them to play with?
