✨ 95 years ago on 31st October 1929, Grosvenor House introduced the first ‘Ice Carnival Ball’ in the Great Room. The ball was attended by the then Prince of Wales along with 300 guests, all dressed in dazzling costumes who skated the night away 💫

📣 Today marks the 90th anniversary since the ‘Grosvenor House’ DH.88 Comet aeroplane won the UK to Australia, Melbourne Air Race on 24th October 1934 📣 The red plane was owned by A O Edwards, founder of Grosvenor House and flew 11,323 miles in 71 hours and 18 seconds ✈️
