I went to both my kid's Thanksgiving meals at school a few years ago now The food was extremely bland & tasted like wet cardboard, zero flavor, they had no butter for rolls, no salt & pepper at all, the gravy was watery jello, the turkey was a soybean-based patty thing, the stuffing was barely wet croutons I talked to one of the managers I knew about the food quality & they said it was a national "healthy" recommendation from the DOE & agreed it was bad, she had been around long enough during the switch & said kids used to get real home-cooked meals, not this pre-packaged garbage they hardly even eat Thank God this all ends now, maybe we can get these kids a real healthy home-cooked meal from caring Grandmothers like the good old days
