@offbeatorbit Guardian said that was the response to the “Lock Him Up” chant not the Gaza chant and it’s hard to tell from that video. But in general yeah it’s definitely something the campaign will have to handle better in general anyways.

Shadow Ring - 1992-2002 Diving into this monstrous compilation of one of the weirdest and most wonderful bands. For the uninitiated, like English psych folk, The Residents, and the Fall reimagined by drowned ghosts and sentient radios. And it gets stranger from there.

@SadHillDevan That was my problem with it, I think it’s fine to not have a kiss scene and in fact potentially refreshing, but the scene was obviously set up to end with a kiss and it felt awkward when it didn’t.

Immaculately researched and very readable book about that “Holy Ghost” of American music Albert Ayler. A deeply sad tale as the fate of the Ayler brothers is grim but it helps illuminate a beautiful and frustrating body of work.

I’ll definitely never succeed in business as I just don’t understand the corporate urge to gut/zombify legacy names like National Geographic, Jazz Times, HBO, AV Club/The Onion, Twitter, and now Pitchfork. I don’t really even see where it makes business sense.

The Third Eye Foundation - Semtex Matt Elliott broke away from Flying Saucer Attack to realize Kevin Shields’s imagined combining of shoegaze guitar fuzz, drift and distant vocals with jungle beats, but that only hints at what his cosmically bleak vision accomplished here.

No Age - Weirdo Rippers Having played shows with their previous band Wives that ended in some drama, I was a little suspicious of this band at first as they felt like retro throwback thing, but eventually I realized what a perfect zone of fuzzed out bliss they arrived at.
