Fort Erie running the Prince of Wales on Tuesday is absolutely brilliant. A small track had the eyes of the entire industry on them instead of stubbornly running it on the weekend where it would get swallowed in stature by DMR, SAR, and a number of other tracks. Good job.

Pretty neat that Mohawk allowed fans to meet & get photos taken with Bulldog Hanover tonight. Like I don't know how many other stallions would be fine with that for an hour or more but just shows again what a cool horse he is.

The Meadowlands deserves a lot of credit for cutting down the time it takes to run their races. 13 dashes in a little over four hours tonight is a welcome relief from the old marathons.

Accusing someone who works in horse racing media as not loving horse racing fascinates me...you work odd/inconsistent hours for meh pay with limited/non-existent growth opportunities in a contracting industry...if you don't love the game, I don't know why you'd ever get involved.

Wanted to say that Brian Brown and all his staff deserve major kudos for that performance by Confederate last night. He was already the best horse in that division before Brett ever laid a finger on him. Brett might have added on but Brian did the work molding the clay.

The fact Luc Ouellette was not even a finalist for the Canadian Hall of Fame this year is beyond absurd. He has 2,966 more wins than Paul Mac does, earned $14.58 million more, his UDRS is 61 points higher, and he hasn't driven since 12/17 while Paul is still active.
