Can’t really compare. When Fergie retired there had only been one player sold for over £50m. Inflation is massive. Yorke was a prem record at £12m, nowadays it’s £64m for Hojlund!

Big of a poor comparison when Giggs was a winger in a 442. Salah is an inside forward in a 433. Salah’s the main scorer. Giggs was a provider. He also transitioned to a more central position when United adopted their 433 formation. Not really comparable as players

I’d challenge any club to have 7 first team players out for a significant period, lose their top scorer and have the budget massively cut to perform as well as Rovers have.
They play well most games. With so many out and so little experience available, errors will happen.

I get the ice caps melt but if they’re already sat on top of water then it doesn’t change the amount of water at all. Try it with a glass - put ice in and fill with water to rim. Ice will melt and it will still be at the rim. Same with ice caps. 🤷🏻♂️

JDT was a class act at Rovers. Spoke passionately, worked his socks off and oversaw some of the best football we’ve had in recent years. Brought in and developed youth - Wharton and Phillips being sold for millions. Always had time for the fans too. He’ll be a successful coach

Said it since I played youth football in the 90s. Make it between the clock changes. March to October. Better pitches. Better weather. More light so can play more. Can train free on parks. More spectators. All grassroots should be, adults and youth.

No Shearer no party! Often his time at Blackburn is overlooked but he scored 112 of his 260 goals there in 4 years, which included a cruciate ligament injury. He could do everything. Best striker ever in the prem, possibly Europe. Only Ronaldo Nazario could come close to peak Al

I’m all for Leonard getting some minutes though starting him at Watford is a bit much. Need to nurture him, not feed him to the lions. He looks set to become a top player for us and hopefully he can be introduced soon. 🔵⚪️
