At this evening’s board meeting, the GISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously to provide a $2,000 incentive pay to all GISD staff members 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 to the already approved $1,000. That’s a total of $3,000 for 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 GISD EMPLOYEE!

Today, we remember Katherine G. Johnson, the great NASA mathematician, who passed away today. The Katherine G. Johnson STEM Academy is named in her honor. We thank her for inspiring generations of young scientists to pursue their passion and create new realities.
Greenville ISD earned a perfect score and “Superior Achievement” rating on the annual state accountability review.

Michael Surface takes top honors in the Region 3 choir auditions & advances to the final audition in the All-State process. The next level of auditions will be held January 12 at A & M Commerce.
The GMS Track Team competed at the 1st Annual Michael Carter / TJ Running Relays Meet hosted by Thomas Jefferson Middle School at Alfred J. Loos Stadium. The 7th Grade Girls Track Team took 1st overall at the meet.
