✨ XENIA ✨ An oldie (2014!) in case you don’t know what it is I actually do: 10 yrs ago I started making stickman comic explanations of concepts for my classes.Since then, despite their scratchy, primitive style, they’ve been used in classes and unis, and over 37k video views!

@Um_tal_de_diogo @Fultime_fangurl I think most translations of the Odyssey suggest ‘axe-heads’ or ‘axe-rings’, so 2 or 3. But 2 would be so low to the ground to be in the floor. Odysseus is seated when he makes the shot but it wouldn’t be that low down. Also, Minoan and Mycenaean axes looked like this:

Watching yesterday’s @PotteryThrow and they had to throw a PSYKTER - a wine-cooler! It’s likely that snow-filled water would have been put inside and the psykter placed inside a krater of wine, to cool it.
