#Plymouth will be home to the UK's first national marine park, supported by £9.5m from @HeritageFundUK. 'Park in the Sea' will revolutionise the way the city interacts with its heritage, promote a more harmonious relationship with the ocean & create hundreds of jobs.
Fantastic news this morning that @plymouthcc has been awarded £9.5m by @HeritageFundUK for Plymouth Sound's 'Park in the Sea' - the UK's first National Marine Park. Park in the Sea will engage the whole city & beyond, supporting education, employment & tackling climate change.
