I had a dream last night that TF2 released the "Printer Update." The only changes were replacing the red/blu teams with magenta/cyan, adding a map that was just a giant printer with a control point in the middle, and increasing the Original's projectile speed for some reason

I started playing this game back in 2014 and have done about everything with it at this point - moderating trade servers, making maps, and even making a YouTube channel for the hell of it - and it's sad to see the state of the game I've loved for almost 9 years.

Or instead of adding new unusual hat/taunt effects every time, add some new unusual weapon effects and Halloween spells to mix it up. There are plenty of great ones on the workshop as of now that will otherwise go completely unused.

While I agree on principle, Valve pretty much killed community servers with MYM. I challenge you to find a single active Prop Hunt server right now with <150 ping. This is the only way modes like this will ever be popular again, and because of that I support them being added.

I fully endorse anyone making maps for their favorite game out of passion, but when you upload it to the Workshop with the financial incentive of it getting added to the game, you have to apply a bit more scrutiny. Stop falling for the us vs them "war on creators" meme.

Okay, sure! First of all, I would give this to Demoknight instead of Scout. Scout already has means of avoiding melee attacks super easily, but Demoknight is actually pretty susceptible to random melee crits, so an option that lets him trade charging for parrying would be cool.

Though the wording is a bit weird, I do like the concept of being able to "reflect" a melee hit if you time it right. Assuming it requires actual prediction on the user's end and can't be spammed, a niche way to properly deal with stronger melee options is a fine concept.
