GrassCheck Bulletin w/c 14th October🌱 Growth on dairy and beef farms has again remained higher than the LT. Avg whilst plot growth has fell below the LT. Avg and in-line with the end of the 2023 season. 🌟

GrassCheck Bulletin 07.10.2024🌱 Grass growth on dairy farms has been 20kg DM/ha above the LT. av. and beef farms this week, with growth predicted to remain above the LT. av over the next fortnight.📈 🌟

🌱GrassCheck Bulletin w/c 30th September On farm grass growth for the week past has been similar to the LT av. at 36 kg DM/ha/day. There are promising signs that grass growth might exceed the LT. av over the next fortnight.📈 🌟

GrassCheck Bulletin 12.08.2024🌱 The window for Autumn reseeding is opening up - use grass management data to determine paddocks which have underperformed this year as well as Soil Nutrient Health Scheme data (if available) to determine nutrient and lime requirements.

GrassCheck Bulletin Week Beginning 05.08.2024🌱 August is an important month for building covers to achieve extra days at grass in the Autumn. Increasing the rotation length by 2.5 days per week is key in achieving this.🐄 🌟

GrassCheck Bulletin Week Beginning 29-07-2024🌱 The total av. grass growth to the end of July 2024 is 6.54 T DM/ha, 82.2% of the LT. av. for the same period, which is 7.96 T DM/ha. This will vary between counties. 🌟

GrassCheck Bulletin Week Beginning 22-07-2024🌱 Grass growth on farm has continued to remain ahead of plot growth in most parts of the region, however, the Eastern province is slightly behind on average growth due to a much higher soil moisture deficit.

GrassCheck Bulletin Week Beginning 15-07-2024🌱 Grass growth has exceeded expectations in the past week but variation continues across the province with a difference of 22kgDM/ha between highest and lowest growth on farm.📈

Grass plot growth has held higher than forecast in the past week but there is a lot of variation in growth rates across the province, in part due to differences in soil moisture. Full Details:
