History lesson of the day: the largest tax increase in Nevada state history was done under a Republican Governor, Republican State Senate, & Republican Assembly (coincidently this tax increase passed during @drrobintitus' 1st #nvleg session)
For the past 4 years I have warned of falling off a fiscal cliff-that the influx of federal inflation-inducing money-printing was going to leave the taxpayer holding the bag NV is still feeling the cost-of-living squeeze & I will not allow taxes to be raised on my watch #nvleg

I agree with Assemblymember @GallantD23 - it's rude for the #nvleg to not use people's preferred gender identifiers!
One would think #democrat leadership would embrace the 1st female majority legislature, but instead they fumbled today with their DEI initiative in effort to make us gender neutral. Voters appreciate authenticity and at this moment #Democrats are falling flat.

A spokesperson for Gov. Joe Lombardo said the Legislature's concerns about Lombardo's executive budget are related to teacher funding in 2023 and preschool expansion. She said the governor will be able to meet a deadline for a budget amendment submission by 5 p.m. on Jan. 29.
