Sad state of affairs. The New constructed Mankhurd flyover has become a death trap for motorists. Accidents happening from day one of the opening, in wet patches due to oil oozing out of the Worst Quality of Tar used for the road.

Mumbai, Maharashtra: On writting a letter to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, demanding a ban on the Ijtema Muslim organization, Minister Nitesh Rane says, "I have demanded that the organization named "Istema Jamat" be declared a terrorist organization. Are there different groups under this name? Because after the inflammatory speeches at their event in Khargar, Hindus were targeted, leading to the death of a young Hindu. Following this incident, I have written a letter to the Chief Minister, urging that all branches of "Istema Jamat" be banned and that they should not be allowed to hold any programs in Maharashtra. Additionally, I have requested an inquiry into the Khargar event"

@mpcb_official has imposed a fine of ₹14 lakh on SMS Envoclean biomedical waste treatment plant in Govandi for environmental violations. However, the National Green Tribunal (NGT) is yet to impose the fine as the matter is under trial and listed for final hearing.
The National Green Tribunal (NGT), has imposed a #fine of Rs 14.22 lakh on SMS Envoclean Pvt Ltd, Mumbai’s only biomedical #waste treatment plant located in Govandi, for environmental damage.
