Washington ranks last in the country in law enforcement officers per capita. We're going to change that. We must establish a $100 million grant program to help local law enforcement agencies hire more well-trained officers.

My team is working closely with the Attorney General to ensure Washingtonians are protected from illegal federal actions.

I just signed an executive order creating a Data Center Workgroup to ensure Washington remains a leader in technology and sustainability. Our data center policies must meet the needs of Washington communities — for growth, and for sustainability. We'll make it happen.

In all 39 counties, we must make housing more affordable. We just invested nearly $15 million across Washington to help build 1,800 new units of affordable housing. Making things happen.

Former Governor Dan Evans said that “we cannot be leisurely when the times call for action.” Let us have a bias toward action.
