The school opened as a result of 3 schools amalgamating (Loreto, CBS and Vocational School). Approximately 1,100 pupils were enrolled with roughly 80 teachers.

🥳🎉The girls rugby teams won the first ever Leinster Senior Girls Cup & Leinster Junior Girls Cup on Wednesday. Seniors beat Wesley College, Heartstown and Kilkenny College in the final. The Juniors beat Wilson’s Hospital, Wesley College and The High School in the final.
