project celebrate with a special ceremony dating back more than 1,000 years. Topping Out symbolizes a connection and the evergreen tree indicates a job well done. It's a cherished custom that Ironworkers say brings “good luck”.

deck. Edge girder installation took place early today to beat the heat. Extreme heat can expand the steel, which is why cooler conditions are ideal.

main span is underway. Using the crane recently assembled on the road deck, the 🇺🇸 construction team has installed the first girder heading towards the Detroit River. The first girder on the 🇨🇦 side is also installed.

16 toll booths located on the Canadian Port of Entry will collect tolls from commercial and passenger vehicles using the

. Work on the toll booths is well underway with the canopy currently under construction. Check out the completed look below.
