I put googly eyes on Lorcana cards. Don't read too much into it.

@flarfdoodle77 @Rooster5man It’s not because it’s an ability. It’s because the character that is banished was not in the challenge.

@Rooster5man Mulan’s ability does resolve within the challenge, but the characters that get dealt damage are not. So even if she banishes three characters *during* the challenge, only the original one was “in the challenge”. Two lore 😅

@Kripplin2 @Traverse_Tavern $800 is an excellent rate. If you live next-door to the venue. It's much, much less of an excellent rate if you have to fly across the country and pay for accommodation. 🤷♂️ ($800 is the NA rate, by the by. I have no idea what TAK paid their judges)

@Traverse_Tavern One thousand percent. Seeing community members use their platform to tear down someone who should never have been in that position in the first place is incredibly disheartening. An inexperienced judge should not have been alone at a top cut stream match. Period.

@NeilandBradley Yeah, I’m actually not just guessing - the head judge was not involved in the original call. Them being “in and around the whole event” is not relevant to that fact. Watching a short video clip where the judge is not even visible does not give you the right to publicly drag them

@NeilandBradley The head judge was not even involved in the original call, Neil. I think that you should take a moment to consider whether the things you think are “clear” even happened at all. Especially since you’re calling people out on social media.

@NeilandBradley Making a mistake is not the same as lacking understanding. Yes, the call was extremely high stakes. It was also extremely high pressure. It could have been handled better. But equating inexperience with incompetence is irresponsible.
