Fun fact: Gonzaga Lacrosse has produced SEVEN college lacrosse team captains over the past seven years. Every one of them played freshman or JV at Gonzaga. Stay patient, work hard and trust: cause nothing worth anything is simply given to you.
Incredible stretch of games to open season and a TEAM come from behind win today. Down 6-2 at half Eagles outscore Boys Latin 9-2 in second half to win 11-8. Congrats to senior Jack Myers on breaking all time program points record during the W.
Day 1 is always an exciting moment for many. A lot of work was put in to get to this point. Varsity captains: Sam Sweeney, Ben Finlay, Tim Marcille, PJ Zinsner, Kurt Bruun and 2019 class will be leading these moments all year.

Under tough times, the books are still so important. With 29 returning varsity lacrosse players: Team GPA average is 3.85 in the first quarter. Unreal! 13 players 4.0 or higher, 23 players 3.5 or higher. Let's Go!
This is a big deal and our program is beyond honored! For the fourth time in last seven years the Eagles are the number one ranked program in the Washington Post!
Incredible TEAM comeback win today. Down 8-4 in final quarter Eagles go on five goal run to win at Landon 9-8 in overtime. Come watch this team compete in final two games of regular season this weekend at home Friday night and Sunday night vs St. John’s and DeMatha.

What an honor for our program and the work put in by our players and coaches! This is the 5th time finishing
#1
in last 8 years. This means so much to us!!
@DixonLacrosse
Over the last 10 years we have had eight players become college captains (which might be the highest honor). Seven of those eight played freshman or JV lacrosse before playing varsity lacrosse.
TEAM AWARDS are most important to us but having seven players represented in the Washington Post All Met solidifies this TEAM. Jack Myers, Drake Schaffner, Kyle Borda, Kurt Bruun, Ben Finlay, Sam Sweeney and Tim Marcille!
Some numbers on a Friday morning for 30 returning Varsity Lacrosse players. Team average GPA for the first quarter is a 3.8...WOW! 19 players with 3.8 or higher, 10 players with 4.0 or higher.
