This is effectively all we’ve accomplished with our clandestine programs… The ‘reverse-engineered’ & ‘alien reproduction vehicle’ categories are in actuality machines of the #Pneumorphidian’s… In many harsh environments, prey will drop something to distract the predator, but sometimes the usual twitching lizard tail isn’t enough of a distraction. In the water, many species use ink to distract, and affect an escape… these same species further down the water column have specialized their ink ejection into what’s called a #psuedomorph to behave for a short time like a creature similar in aspect to itself or the predator. They can effectively shape it in the moment they jet away. These entities, however, are so powerful… so specialized in this game of darkness, light, and deception that instead of bioluminescence & pseudomorphic ink you get orbs & cryptids… You also get entire vehicles. The biologics are like the autopilot in the MIB towncar.. it’s meant to approximate what people expect from it. This will change with time & culture. The craft are abandoned like dropping your entire physical form which will act accordingly in order to distract. The actual entity gets away every single time. Sentinels. Are. Real. They do look similar…. However, these are deep sea fossils called Crinoids from the Cambrian Explosion. The form is instantly recognizable though. Crinoids are possibly an ancestor to #Nüfø- which is going to be renamed #Pnuemorphians unless someone has a better name.
