Just found out that SVG's <foreignObject> tag is now supported in all major browsers!
It's a great tool to embed any custom DOM elements into SVG ones. For example you can easily make multiline text with it.

Did you know there’s an "indeterminate" pseudo-class and state for checkboxes in HTML?
It’s a third state besides checked and unchecked.
Used for partially applied selections like grouped checkboxes.
