Glenveagh National Park and all visitor services will be closed on Tuesday 11th of February 2025. This is due to planned forestry maintenance works close to ESB power lines. We regret any inconvenience caused by this event.

On World Wetlands Day 2025, @Glenveagh_NP supports the the message of protecting our wetlands for the common future. Many projects are ongoing to restore hectares of blanket bog, playing an important role in storing water, carbon and supporting biodiversity. #WorldWetlandsDay

Glenveagh National Park are offering their fully furnished Visitor Centre restaurant operation for a 100 euro a year fee. Experienced parties interested in running a busy and vibrant cafeteria style restaurant in the National Park should contact james.mcginley@npws.gov.ie
