Appreciated chance to talk about where economy is headed. Texas has the best economy in the galaxy. We are as Gov. Abbott says The Blueprint for America. Bullish w/new Admin but important to preserve best trade deal ever #USMCA (negotiated by President Trump during his first term). Mexico and Canada are our top two trading partners. #USMCA means more US jobs, lower inflation and makes US more competitive w/China manufacturing. Texas is the nation’s top export state — 23 years in a row. North American trade is good for Texas! @txbiz

Incredibly important for the health and stability of the US economy that it becomes clear ASAP that #USMCA will remain intact and the US, Canada and Mexico will work together to stregthen the pact. We should build on POTUS negotiated progress on illegal migration and drugs. We can walk and chew gum at the same time. As POTUS has said and @txbiz agrees — USMCA — a deal he negotiated — is the best trade deal ever. A strong North American trading bloc is critical to the national security of the US as well as to our economic prosperity. China is hitting back at new US tariffs. Texas is top export state and needs markets to sell our great products to for our economy to operate on all cylinders. Mexico and Canada are the top trading partners for Texas. Additionally, we build products like cars TOGETHER. Integrated supply chains ADD jobs.
