All at East Cork Glenmary BC would like to extend their sympathies to the Blount family on the passing of Gary. Gary was synonymous with Cork basketball and will be sorely missed by all in the basketball community and beyond

Following the statement from Basketball Ireland, we are determined to be proactive regarding precautions to limit the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). As such, the club will be suspending all training sessions & activities until further notice. 1/2

RESULT (Championship): Blue Demons 59 - 49 Glenmary D2 faced Demons on Tuesday night in the hall in the 1st round of the Championship, a superb 4th quarter brought the game within 5 in the last minutes, but we couldn't get over the hump and Demons held on for a 10 point win.

RESULT: Glenmary U18 56 vs 36 Fr Mathews Glenmary welcomed Fr Mathews to Carrigtwohill Friday night. The boys were quick out of the gate, building a 10 point lead early on and got that elusive 1st win of the season with a deserved 20 point victory.

RESULT: Mallow Lions 62 vs 40 Glenmary U18 Despite a spirited effort, our U18s were unable to overcome a dominant Mallow Lions squad on Wed night. A deeper bench & crisper execution proved the difference for Mallow, as they capitalised on tired legs to run out deserved winners.

RESULT: Glenmary Ladies 75 vs 30 Carrig na bhFearr Glenmary looked sharp from the get go and had a strong lead after the first quarter. Carrig tried to change things up defensively, but by using our bench very well throughout wepulled away with a final score of 75-30 🏀🔥

RESULT: Glenmary (D2) 80 vs 26 Ghlaise Bhui Mens D2 had their first home game of the season Friday night against the newly established Ghlaise Bhui Bruins. All players getting some good game time & contributing to a convincing victory, Julius Mickunas dropped a game high 26!

RESULT: Skibbereen 48 vs 46 Glenmary U18 (OT) The U18s took on Skibbereen in their first game of the season on Friday evening. A cracking game, including a massive shot from Glenmary to push it to overtime but Skib held on to a small lead in the extra period for the win.

RESULT: Ballincollig 68 v 66 Glenmary Ladies The ladies played their first game of the season away to BCG in the Parochial Hall Thursday night. BCG scored a three with 4 seconds to go to take a 2 pt lead. We managed to get a long range shot away for the win but it didn't drop.
