@POETSorg @fsgbooks @FourWayBooks @GeorgiaReview The work that the Academy does is foundational to our society, our culture, our humanity. Poetry reminds us of who we have been, shows us who we are, and challenges us to become something better. We are proud to support the Academy’s work. #PoetryMonth #poets #poetry #flxpoetry

@kalaelizabeth to be fair, Baldur’s Gate 3 had a multiplayer component to it. And while I almost never played the MP add on to ME or DA, all RPGs are built on the DNA of D&D which has had a resurgent popularity. It was not insane to imagine that some multiplayer aspect would have been apropos.

@petrasword whatever the creative merits of the game, it was review bombed incessantly by haters fighting a proxy war for rightwing cultural (and political) interests. I’m fed up with toxic bros laying waste to the games I love. They are fighting a war. Ignoring it won’t make it go away.

@Solfleet Agreed. The fan community needs to rally around Mass Effect. We need to counter the BS of the toxic gamer bros who are fighting a proxy war for rightwing culture. It was _never_ about the quality of the game for them. They wanted to see it fail as an agenda item.

@kalaelizabeth @Sin_Of_Sins Toxic POS like this dude are why the world is being run by billionaire oligarchs. This hate-filled agenda is the evil we fight against when we play RPGs. You’re a hero @kalaelizabeth — keep up the good work. Don’t let these losers bring you down. THANK YOU for all the content! 💜

@kalaelizabeth We can’t let the toxic bros win this. It didn’t matter how good or bad the game was, their minds were made up before it ever came out. We need to stand up for companies who make the kinds of games we want to see. If DA means anything isn’t it that we need to fight against Blight?

@kalaelizabeth I always thought they’d preserve our choice by telling Shep’s story via flashbacks from Liara who we’d see in And. But I think they’re recalibrating. I bet they cave to something more Shep-centric. But the gamerboyz who wanna kill BW no matter what will lambaste them as sell-outs

@SlanderedOne We live in an era where: a) Single player RPGs are the most expensive games to produce b) Toxic bro gamers seek to annihilate any games that support "safe space" strategies Dark days ahead for BW I fear. ME:A hate will make any solution for ME4/5 difficult.

@JohnBasham @POTUS @SenTedCruz So rescinding job offers is totally fine with you as long as it’s not happening to you? Now you know how it feels to have YOUR dreams destroyed and taken away for no good reason except an arbitrary political whim. You voted for this heinous moron. Enjoy what comes your way. 👋🏼

@CalltoActivism That angle obscures both Republican presidents actually. You can even see Gore clearly. If you could see Hillary you’d have the full count of everyone who should have won their Presidential elections

@AshySlasheeDB Sometimes the classics just work. Home alone. Doors locked. Floorboard creaks. Kinda works as a haiku too if you’re not fussy about syllable count.

@flynnslick So many great ones here and many more out there so I’ll go with Kristoff Kyslowski’s Blue/White/Red cycle.

@TheLincoln This guy is the proof point of why schools need to teach their students by having them read complete books. There is a difference between reading a novel and its cliff notes. It’s easy for us to forget the importance o/t emotional dimension because that’s not what’s on the AP.

@TheLincoln It is entirely possible/likely that these people are unaware that these films were based on books originally. I’m a complete graphic novel hound and yet there have been plenty of movies I’ve started watching w/o knowing they were based on a comic.
